Marlene Mota defended on July 15 her Master’s Thesis in Biochemistry at the University of Beira Interior – UBI developed under the Integrated Program in IC&DT Cultivar.
Entitled “Development of a molecular tool for the rapid detection of Xylella fastidiosa and nutritional characterization of the different varieties of Cydonia oblonga Miller cultivated in the Beira Interior region”, was developed under the supervision of Christophe Espirito Santo (CATAA – Association Center for AgriFood Technological Support) and Joana Costa (Centre for Functional Ecology – Science for People & the Planet, University of Coimbra and Pedro Nunes Institute).
