On October 15th and 16th, Cultivar project was presented at the Fundão Agricultural Innovation Fair.
In a joint stand with CATAA – Association Center for Agro-Food Technological Support, Pedro Nunes Institute and Centre for Functional Ecology – Science for People & the Planet, in addition to communicating the projects that are underway in the IC&DT CULTIVAR program, we have encouraged a conversation about microbiomes and a lecture on pollinators.

The conversation on microbiomes “One health: the role of microbiomes from meadow to dish” was attended by the CEO of Cultivar Joana Costa (Centre for Functional Ecology, IPN-Fitolab), the members of CULTIVAR, Christophe Espírito Santo (CATAA), Inês Brandão (CATAA) and Ricardo Leitão (Centre for Functional Ecology) and also with the participation of Ana Faria (NOVA Medical School – Faculty of Medical Sciences).
The lecture on pollinators “Valorization of wild pollinators for sustainable pollination services in agroecosystems” was given by Sílvia Castro (FLOWer Lab, Centre for Functional Ecology, University of Coimbra).
