The Cultivar project was present at the “III National Symposium of Dried Fruits” which took place in the auditorium of the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Algarve (DRAP Algarve) from November 14th to 16th.
The researcher Vanessa Vasconcelos presented the work on the Nutritional Analysis of 16 varieties of Hazelnut from Colonia Agrícola Martim Rei of the Municipality of Sabugal, where she showed the nutritional value of the varieties of Hazelnuts present in the territory of Beira Interior.
Researcher Tércia Lopes also presented the study “Analysis of the Expression of Regulatory Factors in the Establishment of Micrografting in Almond (Prunus Dulcis (Mill.) D. A. Webb), in this case in poster format.
Joana Costa, CEO of Cultivar, was part of the Scientific Committee of the Symposium.
It was an excellent opportunity to see the challenges that different ranks face today, and what contributions our project can make to overcome them.
