The members of the Integrated Program in IC&DT Cultivar (https://icultivar.pt/) gathered to discuss the results obtained in the first 2 years, in the main auditorium of Escola Superior Agrária do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco, and also online. In the opening session the President of IPCB, Dr. António Fernandes, the head of IPCB for the program, Professor Paulo Fernandez, and the researcher responsible for Line 2, Sílvia Castro (UC), and virtually the coordinator of the Program, Professor Helena Freitas, and CEO of CULTIVAR, Dr. Joana Costa were present.
The meeting was organized 5 sessions, each dedicated to a line of research of the program, and a total of 25 oral presentations were held, in general, by junior researchers, who summarized the results of two years of research.
The first day of the annual meeting ended with a visit to CBPBI – Centro de Biotecnologia de Plantas da Beira Interior (https://cbpbi.ipcb.pt/) and with a networking dinner.
The second day ended with a closing session, in which a summary of the meeting and a thank you to all was made, which was then followed by a visit to CATAA – Centro de Apoio Tecnológico Agro Alimentar (https://www.cataa.pt/).
